there are a variety of popular beliefs about the year 2012 that range from the spiritually transformative to the apocalyptic.

there is a prediction that earth, our only and last home will come to an end, our last hope of survival of humanity will vanish before 21-12-2012 ...

not entirely based on the movie, it's true that earth, sun and other planets are going to form a linear line on 21-12-2012 and there will be some changes around earth. but im nt sure if the changes will be deadful enough to kill us and turn the earth inside out.

maybe it's true that 'they' are building the ships to save the selected people who are intelligent, rich and worth saving in some ways. if there is the case, im a ordinary student who have not yet make great contributions to the society may end up beening left behind to face the fact.

the movie highlights the selfishness of human natural, we need more people like the good-hearted scientist in the show although i know it requires lots of courage and commitment and sacrification.

another thing i noticed is that this movie is trying to praise china in some ways. maybe the obvious increment of technology skills and knowleges, resulted in emphasising that china is a growing nation.

if earth is coming to an end, i have a few things need to do.

i want to talk to all my friends

i want to thanks my parents for everything they have done for me

i want to hold hand with the one i love

i want to say sorry for the mistakes i made

but, i don want to regret that this end is caused by the irreponsible acts of human beings ... there will be heartbreaking

well, shld we do something abt all the environment unfriendly acts now?
